UPDATE: Kat Moller was killed in a tragic accident Thursday evening, November 15 2018, at Sebring International Raceway in Central Florida when the red, white and blue jet dragster she was piloting crashed during an exhibition run. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Kat's family and friends during this difficult time.

The Snowbird Nationals at Bradenton Motorsports Park took place this past weekend (December 2-4 2016). This 3 day event was full of Jet Engine Powered Dragsters and Semi Trucks, including a jet dragster sponsored by OE Wheels and driven by 19 year old Sarasota, Florida native Kat Moller.

"I was proud to drive the OE Wheels sponsored jet dragster at The Snowbird Outlaw Nationals this past weekend at Bradenton Motorsports Park," says Kat when asked about the event. "Not only did the jet dragster look fantastic blasting down the track but it was also the fastest car out there this weekend at a whopping 275 MPH! Powered by the same jet engine as a T-38 Talon I ran the quarter-mile in about 5.9 seconds."

Kat continued: "I grew up in Sarasota not far from the OE Wheel headquarters, so it was great to be back racing at my home track. I got my start racing at the age of eleven in the junior dragster program here. Since then I have been hooked racing anything I could get my hands on including a Fox Body Mustang, a superpro dragster, and the OE Wheels sponsored jet dragster."

"Growing up in an automotive family racing and cars has always been a fascination of mine. My family owns Corvettes West, an auto body shop in Sarasota, FL. As you can tell, it was only a matter of time before Kat got behind the wheel, and by 2013 she signed a driving contract with Larsen Motorsports, racing their Matrix System Jet Dragster. Kat has remained on the Larsen Motorsports Racing Team while obtaining a mechanical engineering degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, and is now working on her Master’s Degree in Global Strategic Communication at Florida Tech.
